As lead partner, CTP is responsible for the coordination and technical and administrative management of the project. From a research perspective, CTP will leverage its expertise to develop supersulfated binders incorporating industrial by-products and waste materials, such as slags recovered from former steelmaking sites and fly ash excavated from abandoned industrial sites or former landfills. <\/p>\n

In close collaboration with the other partners, CTP contributes to communication, dissemination, valorisation and knowledge transfer activities targeting companies across the Interreg France-Wallonia-Flanders area.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Within DepolLowC, JUNIA brings its expertise in chemistry and environmental engineering to characterise the materials developed and assess their potential to immobilise contaminants present in polluted soils. VITO leverages its expertise in innovative cementitious materials to produce and characterise calcined clays intended to replace part of Portland cement. Its work also focuses on assessing their reactivity, environmental performance and ability to immobilise contaminants present in polluted soils.
