This strategic infrastructure will play a key role in the development of new generations of low-carbon binders. This is a central focus of the DepolLowC project, which aims to develop three types of low-carbon binders—namely, supersulfated cements, alkali-activated binders, and binders based on calcined clays—for the stabilization of pollutants found on brownfield sites.

The day concluded with a technical meeting featuring lively discussions about the initial results obtained and future prospects.
