As lead partner, CTP is responsible for the coordination and technical and administrative management of the project. From a research perspective, CTP will leverage its expertise to develop supersulfated binders incorporating industrial by-products and waste materials, such as slags recovered from former steelmaking sites and fly ash excavated from abandoned industrial sites or former landfills.
In close collaboration with the other partners, CTP contributes to communication, dissemination, valorisation and knowledge transfer activities targeting companies across the Interreg France-Wallonia-Flanders area.

Within DepolLowC, JUNIA brings its expertise in chemistry and environmental engineering to characterise the materials developed and assess their potential to immobilise contaminants present in polluted soils. JUNIA also contributes to communication, dissemination and knowledge transfer activities aimed at socio-economic stakeholders across the Interreg region.

VITO leverages its expertise in innovative cementitious materials to produce and characterise calcined clays intended to replace part of Portland cement. Its work also focuses on assessing their reactivity, environmental performance and ability to immobilise contaminants present in polluted soils. In collaboration with the other project partners, VITO also contributes to communication, dissemination, valorisation and knowledge transfer activities targeting stakeholders across the Interreg France-Wallonia-Flanders area.

Within DepolLowC, IMT Nord Europe contributes to the development of low-carbon binders (alkali-activated binders and geopolymers) based on secondary mineral resources and evaluates their capacity to stabilise contaminants present in polluted soils. In collaboration with the other partners, it also takes part in communication, dissemination and knowledge transfer activities targeting stakeholders across the Interreg France-Wallonia-Flanders area.
